This week, across the bay, is MMDS 2012. Workshop on Algorithms for Modern Massive Data Sets
Admit it: just reading the titles of these talks (e.g., "Affiliation Network Models for Densely Overlapping Communities in Networks") makes you drool!
Of course, since it's a workshop, you really had to be there (and I wasn't), since all that's available online are the abstracts of the talks.
But still, it's more work to keep an eye out for...
